Well. I have been thinking about it for a very, very long time, and I've finally decided what I have to do.
I'm not going to draw Bloody Urban comics anymore.
Now, before you come after me with torches and pitchforks, allow me to explain you a thing. I'm quitting Bloody Urban as a comic not because I'm sick of drawing it, but because I don't think the format suits the setting. I've never actually liked it as a comic, and now that I'm getting into screenwriting a bit with those ASoUE fan movies I'm working on, I realise that I need to make Bloody Urban into an animated show. That's the best way to do it, really.
Ideally, what I want to do is write a pilot episode, get some model sheets and pitch it as a proper animated television show, maybe on the Comedy Channel or Adult Swim or something, but if that fails I might just make it an online cartoon. But whatever. We'll tackle that whenever we need to.
But anyway, the series is getting a bit of a re-tool before I can do all that stuff. Some character relationships are getting retconned and some other stuff might get rejiggered, but basically it's going to be the same as the comics. Hopefully better. So look out for new Bloody Urban stuff soon.
